Nope, the Annapolis man was not me.
The phrase “chuckle-fuck Zodiak Killer” was the single most reason I chose to make this case into an eCrimeBytes Nibble.
An Annapolis, Maryland man was sentenced to four months for threatening Ted Cruz via email through the Congressman’s event management platform.
The first email read:
Thank you for the address!!! I’m coming to murder all of you satanist fuckers!!! Especially the chuckle-fuck Zodiak [sic] Killer Ted Cruz!! That fat fake fucker ass will be the first on the gallows!! SEE ALL OF YOU FUCKERS REALLY SOON!!! With my fresh militia and weapons!!! Thanks for the info fuckers!!!

The second email read:
WE ARE COMING FOR CHUCKLEFUCK ZODIAK [sic] KILLER TED CRUZ!!! THANKS FOR THE ADDRESS AND INVITE, SEE YOU ALL SOON ENOUGH!!!
Justin Kuchta via email to an event management website for Ted Cruz
Do you wonder how Justin was caught? Well the IP address he was assigned while making these threats came back to a high speed network owned by the State of Maryland. Specifically, the IP address resolved to a Virtual Private Network (VPN) used by the State of Maryland’s government offices, assigned to Justin Kuchta.
With mounting evidence, Kuchta confessed.
Apparently Kuchta used his work laptop at home to send the threatening messages, but he left his work VPN connected so the messages he sent looked as if they came out of the Maryland government. He was not hard to track down after associating the VPN’s IP address with the State of Maryland.
